ICOPER is an eContentplus Best Practice Network involving experts in digital educational development and technology enhanced learning (TEL). The project will systematically analyse the specifications and standards available and in use, addressing issues such as exchange of competency models and learning outcomes, collaboration around learning designs, integration of content via federated search and harvesting, reuse of instructional models and content in learning delivery environments and interoperability of item banks for assessment and evaluation.

This course provides an overview of the iCOPER project outcomes:  a general description of the outcomes of the iCOPER Reference Model (big picture), the description of all standars studied by iCOPER and links to different prototypes that used studied standards and concepts of best practices in TEL.

• Joint European Summer School on Technology Enhanced Learning, 7th-11th June 2010, Ohrid, Macedonia

The Summer School aims to encourage participants to adopt a critical stance in thinking about the role of technologies in providing opportunities for learners and the potential of these opportunities in terms of learning. Work will centre on three research "Grand Challenges":

• Orchestrating learning
• Contextualising learning environments
