ICOPER is an eContentplus Best Practice Network involving experts in digital educational development and technology enhanced learning (TEL). The project will systematically analyse the specifications and standards available and in use, addressing issues such as exchange of competency models and learning outcomes, collaboration around learning designs, integration of content via federated search and harvesting, reuse of instructional models and content in learning delivery environments and interoperability of item banks for assessment and evaluation.

Highlights

• ICOPER online course

This course provides an overview of the standards investigated during the project as well as links to different applications developed as support to the elaboration of recommendations and best practices in TEL.

• ICOPER Reference Model (IRM)

This 20 minute online course provides a brief introduction into the ICOPER Reference Model (IRM). The IRM is concerned with the adoption of standards and open specifications in the higher education sector.

The course also offers translation of IRM in French, Italian and Spanish languages.

• Joint European Summer School on Technology Enhanced Learning, 7th-11th June 2010, Ohrid, Macedonia

The Summer School aims to encourage participants to adopt a critical stance in thinking about the role of technologies in providing opportunities for learners and the potential of these opportunities in terms of learning. Work will centre on three research "Grand Challenges":
